Let me introduce you, this is Margarita Fur, she’s fresh out of the forest and needs a place to stay. She might be a bit shy, she’s still discovering who she is…

Life in the forest was good to her, she knew how to take it in, what the world looked like, who to trust and who to avoid. She thinks she might’ve outgrown the forest, she’s not sure, she remembers the comfortable darkness and the light hurts her eyes.

However, there’s work to be done out here, something to do with those who create, those who imagine new worlds, have stories to tell and see the world through poetry.

She wants to give them space, she wants to see them work, she wants to be safe and secure and real.

Margarita Fur is een onafhankelijk label voor het werk van vrouwelijke en queer kunstenaars en ontwerpers.

Fur staat voor poëtisch, vuig en geëngageerd. Je kan haar dragen als een warm vachtje, maar ze zal ook haar tanden laten zien.

Margarita Fur is begin 2025 opgericht door Anna de Vriend en Daphne Rieken.

Een typische Fur kunstenaar beweegt zich van het artistieke naar het sociale domein en maakt hier ruimte voor het alternatieve en het poëtische.

Tegen de keer in, betrokken, poëtisch.

In de Dolly Department steken we onze handen uit de mouwen. en ontwikkelen we een activiteitenprogramma voor de kinderen van het het AZC Nijmegen-Oost.

Margarita Fur is an independent label for female and queer artists and designers.

Under the watchful eye of founder Daphne Rieken and Anna de Vriend, Fur is poetic, bold and engaged..

She can be worn as a warm coat but isn’t afraid to flash her teeth.

Margarita Fur uses the same tactics as small independent record labels by representing artists, publishing work, arranging commissions and facilitating meaningful connections.

The Dolly Department is where we move from the artistic to the social realm, creating space for the alternative and the poetic.
